Capso has successfully completed over 90 carbon capture projects in more than 25 countries, including 60 end-to-end projects and 30 refurbishments. Notably, three of these initiatives were collaborative efforts with the European Union. Collectively, over 4.38 million tons of CO2 is captured per year across all our existing projects.
This project is one of many collaborations between Capso and the European Union. Capso was tasked with testing the effects of a supercritical pipeline burst, marking the first time such an experiment was conducted on an industrial scale anywhere in the world.
Capso achieved over 99.9999% CO2 purity for the first time with a manufacturer in Taiwan. This company utilized the high-grade 6N liquid CO2 produced during carbon capture to supply TSMC, the world's largest semiconductor company.
We had the honor of engineering the world's first system to successfully recover 4N food-grade liquid CO2 from a cement plant in China. This project set a global benchmark for treating cement factory flue gas and attracted visitors from all around the world.
